The B.Ed. Special Education programme is an RCI-recognised teacher training programme for teachers who will educate children with disabilities. Admission is made once a year; the admission notice is normally published in August/September.

- Eligibility: Bachelor's/master's degree from a recognised university with at least 50% in Science, Commerce or Arts (55% in the main subject Mathematics and Science for Engineering/Technology degrees). SC/ST and learners with disabilities get a 5% relaxation.
